Addiction is ravaging our society, killing thousands of innocent people and destroying the lives of many others, including the daily and friends who so often bear the brunt of addicts' problems. In recent years, we've slowly begun battling against the illness. But in at least one key respect, we're doing it all wrong. One thing we have learned is that we need to pray and turn it over to our Lord, get out of the way and watch Him work. Additionally we will learn that this is a Battle worth fighting. We will also learn about Anger and Depression, Stress and Worry, and Boundaries, Forgiveness and Unconditional Love.

In Modern America, the lunchtime version. Throughout our history, American Pastors and churches have played a vital role in the establishment and preservation of religious and civil liberty. Being "salt & light" requires knowledge of the culture we are attempting to preserve and influence as we fulfill the Great Commission and "Make disciples of all nations." Biblical Citizenship requires a knowledge of Biblical principles and how to apply them to the world. Please join us in the Upper Room Classroom on Sundays from 1:30-2:30pm beginning January 26 - February 23.

Sonshiners is a ministry for men and women ages 55+. We meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of each month for a time of worship, devotion, fellowship, and an opportunity to hear from a guest speaker. Refreshments will be served!

ABIDE - Spring Women's Bible Study, Study of 1-3 John by Jen Wilkin

Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. - 1 John 2:24

How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin will help us see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth.
