Godspeak parents and grandparents, are you concerned with what is happening in California Public Schools? Feeling trapped and frustrated as your children and grandchildren are taught a PROGRESSIVE ANTI-GOD, ANTI-AMERICAN PAGAN AGENDA in our local public schools. The California Dept. of Education has just (May 2019) issued guidelines for Sex Education that you must know about – and this time there is no opt out. Public Schooling in California spends a total of 11,940 hours (from K through 12th) indoctrinating your child into ungodliness and a non-Christian worldview. Ask yourself, are the schools teaching what you, as a parent, want you child to know (Proverbs 22:6). You are invited to this free conference to hear Leading Educators on the subject of public vs. Christian private & homeschooling education. Several local Private Christian School and Christian Homeschool Educators will present and have literature and counseling available at this meeting.

As we carry on the theme, “This is Love,” we see it displayed perfectly by Jesus on the cross as it is describer in John 15:13. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” Jesus died the death that we should have died, and on Good Friday, we recognize that, but we also look ahead, know that he did not simply die, but rose again. Death could not hold Him.
This year our Godspeak Kids are putting on an amazing easter performance. On Palm Sunday, April 14th, at 6:00pm, or Kids will be on stage in the sanctuary leading the congregation in a beautiful time of worship as we reflect on all that Jesus has done for us. If you would like your child to be involved, and they are not already, please contact our children’s ministry team.
Palm Sunday is when we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus. Although this was a joyous occasion, Jesus knew that His people would ultimately turn against Him. The people expected a King that would solve all of their earthly problems, but God is interested in greater things. “This is Love” is what our theme is for Holy Week, and we are excited to take a look at all of the ways Jesus Loves us.
